A Sunny Bouquet II - FinalHey there!  I’m so glad you stopped by.  This watercolor is one from my Sunny Bouquet Series, and was painted in my painting nook.  I do believe I have the smallest “studio” in the world but it works for me.  I paint at a stand-up easel in a corner, which is in front of a window and beside my antique art chest.  Less really is more.  Have you found that to be true?  My little studio is a heavenly spot, especially when the sun is streaming gently through the window directly behind.  I’ve noticed a tendency toward bright and cheerful colors in the winter.  I think this helps to ward off the winter blues.  However, I don’t have a lot to complain about in metro Atlanta, do I?  I’ll be painting this afternoon with the windows open (my version of glamping).  Follow this blog to see a shot of one of the smallest studios in the world coming up soon.
